History - Thirtyfive years and still like the first day
The place was the town of Boretto. The time was September 1979. The motivations were initiative, competence, trust in one’s skills and responsibility – the qualities of true professionals. These were the origins of Manotti, a company that after thirtyfive years in the lifting sector has never lost the enthusiasm of the first day. More than twelve thousand days later, the company has changed its brand name, expanded its production facilities and constantly improved its design and manufacturing capacity. Quite a way from the garage where Dante Manotti started out as a subcontractor for larger companies. In 1983 Manotti’s three sons joined the business, and shortly afterwards the company was designing and building its own lifting systems.

The company name referred to the founder’s family and to the metalworking business, which during the mid-1990s assumed a more international tone, reflecting is orientation towards new markets and new technologies. For example, the acronym PC stands for Platforms and Cranes, the main machines built by Manotti today. The importance of the customer remains a fundamental value even now that the company presents itself as a brand based on dynamism, history and Italian craftsmanship. These are values that each company division strives to protect and improve every day, pursuing excellence in every activity – design, construction, testing, warehousing and shipping. The future of Manotti is in commitment, research, relations and communication. Manotti aims at
making more powerful machines, expanding its product range and specializing in the design and construction of constantly improved equipment also on customer specifications.
